Why did you choose HPN?
I have a huge amount of respect for Cliff. He is a leader in his field and his passion and knowledge is extremely infectious. His approach is cutting edge and his experiences and networks means that he is totally on pulse on a global level. Most importantly he teaches and delivers from the heart, making him an extremely good lecturer, mentor and friend.

What did you get out of the HPN course/ why would you recommend it others?
Aside from cutting edge knowledge, this course gave me the confidence to consult in an area that I'm truly passionate about. Before HPN I felt like I was battling against old school nutrition, on my own. Spending time with Cliff and his other students made me realize the body of evidence around low carb, high fat nutrition is growing and very sound. The support throughout course and everyday since is invaluable and means that I continue to learn, even after completing the course. In my opinion this ongoing support is crucial in an ever-changing industry like Nutrition.

What was your background experience in nutrition?
I had completed papers as part of Sports Degree in the early 2000s. However it was very high carb swayed. Since then it was a lot of self-education and educating who ever would listen to me! I was lucky to own a Crossfit gym and also teach Pilates, so I had a lot off willing listeners!

What are you up to now as a graduate of HPN?
As mentioned above my career is in fitness, so I get to chat nutrition nearly everyday. I hold regular nutrition workshops, run challenges, have a FB Page "Nutrition 365", and also consult on an individual basis.

What's does your ideal day off entail?
Spending time with my husband and 17month old son, Cooper.

What is your favorite way to nourish your body and what is your biggest food weakness?
Water, vegetables, meat and REST. Carrot cake and a good glass of Merlot.

What does your weekly fitness routine consist of?
Cross fit, Pilates and keeping up with Cooper.

Favorite piece of nutritional advice?
Gosh I have a few ;-)

Eat Real Food!
"It's what you do most of the time, not some of the time that counts"
