Why did you choose HPN?
I liked that the course is up-to-the-minute information on nutrition, and that it’s a holistic approach so health isn’t sacrificed for performance. It's also flexible so it meant I could work at the same time which was ideal. I’ve always been fascinated with how food choices have drastic impacts on our bodies and our lives, but the information we get through media is not always accurate.  I wanted to learn more about nutrition and pass the correct information on to others.

What did you get out of the HPN course/ why would you recommend it others?
A sound knowledge of nutrition for optimum health and performance. I now feel confident that I am giving my clients plans based on the latest research findings. I’d recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn more about nutrition or further their nutrition studies.

What was your background experience in nutrition?
I had a nutritionist for a number of years to help me with my eating plans when I was a competitive rower and later for a fitness model competition, so  I learned a lot about proper nutrition from her and from my own sporting background.

What are you up to now as a graduate of HPN?
I'm currently getting organised to start taking on clients who want to improve their health, self-esteem and/or performance through proper nutrition and exercise! I want my clients to have simple yet delicious meal plans, so am putting a lot of work into the back-end of the business to ensure that this happens.

What's does your ideal day off entail?
Traveling to a tropical island, doing some fun water activities, getting pampered then dancing the night away!! Just a standard weekend really ;)

What is your favourite way to nourish your body and what is your biggest food weakness?
I love discovering healthy, quick recipes that not only taste amazing but nourish the body at the same time. Biggest food weakness would have to be chocolate!

What does your weekly fitness routine consist of?
4-5 CrossFit sessions, and 1 session of something else active - either a dance class, swim, run or walk.

Favourite piece of nutritional advice?
“The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.” - Ann Wigmore
